1. Acceptance of these terms
These Terms ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and FacilityFlow AS (the company that operates SafetyRide). They apply to your use of safetyride.io, the contact form, the ROI calculator, the SafetyTag pre-order flow, and any transactional emails sent in response to your submissions.
If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the site or submit a pre-order. If you submit a pre-order on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.
2. About the service
SafetyRide is currently a pre-launch marketing website. We are preparing to ship SafetyTag — a small hardware device that connects vehicles to a verified safety and evidence layer — with first deliveries scheduled for Q1 2027.
These Terms cover use of the website, the contact form, the ROI calculator, and pre-orders placed during the pre-launch period. When SafetyTag hardware ships and the SafetyRide service platform launches, additional product- and service-specific terms will apply.
3. Pre-order and priority-order terms
These pre-order and priority-order terms apply to business customers (B2B) unless we have agreed otherwise with you in writing. During the pre-launch period SafetyRide offers two ordering paths: a deposit-based pre-order (currently the default Europe market) and a binding priority order (markets where no deposit is taken at the time of order).
Prices may vary by market, currency, and local commercial terms. The price shown for your selected market at the time of order is the starting order price. The figures stated below reflect the default launch market (Europe, EUR).
Binding priority orders
- A priority order is binding when you submit it, subject to these Terms.
- Final delivery pricing may adjust by up to 5% from the starting order price before delivery. This is a limited adjustment only — not an open-ended right to change the price.
- We will notify you of any price adjustment before delivery.
- We will confirm your delivery date no later than the end of Q1 2027, and will work toward delivery as soon as reasonably possible.
- If you wish to object to a notified price adjustment, or to exercise a contractual delivery-related remedy under these Terms, you must notify us within the notice period stated in our notice. If you do not notify us within that period, the adjustment and confirmed delivery arrangements are treated as accepted.
Deposit pre-orders (Europe market)
- Where a deposit applies — currently the default Europe market — a €45 deposit is reserved at pre-order. Note: the production payment integration goes live before first deliveries; until then, your pre-order is a reservation only and no money changes hands.
- The remaining balance (€106.20) becomes due before delivery in Q1 2027. We will email you with payment instructions in advance.
- A deposit pre-order locks the launch price (€151.20) regardless of any subsequent retail price changes. The retail price (currently €189) may change before launch; deposit pre-order holders are not affected.
Delivery, cancellation and refund
- First SafetyTag deliveries are scheduled for Q1 2027. We may adjust the delivery window if production timelines shift; we will notify you in writing of any material delay.
- Subscription billing for the SafetyRide service begins only after your SafetyTag is delivered and activated — never before.
- Deposit pre-orders (Europe): you may cancel and receive a full refund of any amount paid at any time before production begins, by emailing us or using the contact form. After production begins, refund eligibility is governed by applicable law, including any mandatory cooling-off period for distance contracts where it applies.
- Binding priority orders: your order is binding when submitted; your remedies are the contractual delivery-related remedies set out above, exercised by notifying us within the stated period.
- If we cancel an order (for example because we cannot deliver), you receive a full refund of any amounts paid without delay.
4. Acceptable use
You agree to use the site lawfully and in good faith. You will not:
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive the source code of any part of the site beyond what applicable law allows.
- Scrape, crawl, or programmatically extract data from the site beyond standard browsing.
- Submit false information through the contact or pre-order forms.
- Use the site to send spam, harass others, or distribute illegal content.
- Interfere with the site's infrastructure (rate-limit evasion, denial-of-service attempts, or other malicious activity).
- Resell, sublicense, or redistribute access to the site or any pre-order without our prior written permission.
5. Intellectual property
All content on the site — text, graphics, logos, the SafetyRide and SafetyTag wordmarks, design system, illustrations, and source code — is owned by SafetyRide (operated by FacilityFlow AS) or licensed to us. You may not reuse this content without permission, except for personal viewing or for sharing the public URL.
The SafetyRide and SafetyTag names are trademarks. Use of these names in a way that suggests affiliation, endorsement, or sponsorship without our prior written permission is prohibited.
6. Disclaimers
The site and its content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make reasonable efforts to ensure accuracy, but:
- Pricing, delivery dates, and product specifications are subject to change as the product matures.
- The ROI calculator provides indicative estimates only — actual results depend on your local market, dispatch agreements, and trip mix.
- Pre-launch product descriptions may not reflect the final hardware or software behaviour.
We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fully secure against every attack. Nothing in this section limits any rights you have under mandatory consumer protection law.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, SafetyRide and FacilityFlow AS will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from your use of the site or any pre-order — including, without limitation, loss of profits, loss of data, or business interruption.
For pre-orders and priority orders, our maximum aggregate liability is limited to the total amount you have paid to us for the affected order. Where a deposit applies (the default Europe market), this is the €45 deposit. If applicable law sets a higher minimum, that minimum applies.
This section does not limit liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, gross negligence, or for any damages that cannot be limited or excluded under EU consumer law.
8. Privacy
Your use of the site is also governed by our Privacy Policy at /privacy, which explains what personal data we collect and how we handle it.
9. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Norway, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes that cannot be resolved through good-faith dialogue will be brought before the competent courts of Oslo, Norway.
Where mandatory consumer protection law of your country of residence provides otherwise, that law applies. EU consumers may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform for cross-border disputes.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms as the service evolves. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent version. Material changes that affect existing pre-orders will be communicated to you by email before they take effect.
Your continued use of the site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not accept a change, you may stop using the site, and (for pre-orders) cancel for a full refund as set out in Section 3.
